And someone is going to make a killing on this, on the broker, for like a week. Because not everyone reads the update messages.
Someone is going to buy stacks of both and sell them on the broker for a 1g each, and someone who didn't read the updates is going to be stupid enough to buy them.

Re: Test update notes
To be honest I can see the need for the additional wolvesbanes being available but Heartwood stakes is just taking things a bit far. I would however like to see some kind of pain in the ass quest implemented that is repeatable for the wolvesbanes instead of tossing them onto the open market.
Just that something bothers me when you have to kill a much harder mob (Wuoshi) to get wolvesbanes to helpkill a much easier mob (Mayong).
Side note: The other night my guild was on the way to MMIS and en route ran into another x4 raid force who was also headed there. We wiped them and one of their members dropped a wolves bane for us . And yeah, I play on Nagafen.

You can use a stake on any vampire in the zone except Mayong. With 5 groups of courtesan/blood drinkers, 4 pairs of blood drinkers, 2 single nameds, and a named+3 adds, this means you need 29 of them to get the highest parse possible.

yes, thanks
"shitty raiders"= people and guilds that except new raiders and who are more causal on their approach, that realize this is just a video game and most other things are more important and the main goal is to play and have fun---Most eq2 guilds and players.

You know, considering it takes all of 2 hours to get to the 3rd floor of EH if you know what you're doing, it's pretty much means shitty raiders. Shit, when I was a shitty raider back in T5, we would take 5-6 hours in SotL, and we had no problems with it. But now, if raiders have to take more than 2 hours in a zone they cry and say they don't suck.

Re: Test update notes
This is how they've been operating since KoS, nerf the zones from easiest to hardest as we get closer and closer to the new expansion. It's sorta an okay idea, as the people who care about difficulty and server first and shit have it done already, and the people that haven't been able to finish it yet now get a shot at finishing their epic or whatever. Let's be honest, if you were lookin for a game where only the best of the best finish the content and get the loot, that ship sailed a long time ago.
On the other hand, Kunark looks to be changing it up a little -- maybe we'll see something different next expansion.

Stakes only work on GREATER VAMPIRES (named). So you are wrong. Damn I've wanted to say that for a while.
