well what happens is, that people gear up and bail so allot of guilds have a mix of people that are tricked out and noobs with no gear. The people that are tricked out, are sick to death of kos zones, and want to do nothing but eof, though they are not as successful, for allot of the force is different each raid, and two, allot of the force is not all fabled out. Cause they are newer into raiding, and don't get the chance to farm kos. There of course are allot of other reasons, I am just tossing you this one example.

so first off you have no firsthand knowledge of whats going on. Why would you even talk then. Second the rumbler being up is neither here nor there if you can beat the zone without beating a mob that spawns in the zone then you dont need to kill the mob to beat the zone. That seems to be pretty easy to follow.

wait-- the point was made that you don't need the rumbler to get access to the 2nd floor

Not everyone has 100p to blow on masters. I have 8p to my name. I think 25p for a master is fucking ridiculous and I refuse to support someone who thinks otherwise.

It doesn't make me a lousy player, it's called being frugal on a small bank roll.

Someone told me: "Don't get pissed off at the players who mark up the masters to an obscene amount. If you don't agree to the price, don't pay for it."

So, I don't.

the answer is no many guilds get to the second floor every day witout killing the rumbler.

If the Rumbler isn't up (he is one of the random names in EH) then it's not like you go - "Oh Shit Rumbler isn't up, time to go!" and zone out. Now if you are talking about if the Rumbler is up, can you progress to the 2nd floor - well I have never done it (don't need to, since we kill Rumbler) but I have heard there is a way to do it.

...and also please let's not use the - "It takes too long" reason for not being able to raid the higher end content. A couple of us created a guild at the end of Feb, with about 6 people who raided EoF stuff, and grew that into a guild that by May had killed every instance in KoS, EoF, and all KoS/FD contested, PHH in EoF, and an avatar.

thats completely and utterly stupid. it would take me a whole 6 hours tops to just make 25plat...i mean if i were to just do some easy ass series of runs through instances in a day you would get 2plat just off body drops not to mention whatever named mobs dropped.

Meri, I'm sure that your people were consistent, though, and didn't bail when the progression wasn't fast enough.

Casual raiding guilds, when people get geared up high enough, look for a raiding guild for perosnal progression. Then the casual guilds are left with gaining new members who aren't geared up, as they should be, for EoF content...so...they go back to KoS raids to help them gear up and the cycle starts all over again.
