Looks like you should of rolled on a PvP server.

I believe the choice for PvP was retarded. It isnt why I bought this game to begin with. It was simply a move , imho, they did to gain more subscribers using a WoW model.

Sure, more subs = more money. but I feel PvP was dev time wasted. SoE should of just made another fucking game designed solely for PvP. Everyone would of been more happy.

To Shax... no, I do not regret not rolling on a PvP server. If thats what I was looking for I sure as fuck would not be spending all my time in Norrath. Countless other titles do it way better

Nah, I like my regular server. And no way am I starting over at this late date - I have 5 level 70 toons and 7 level 70 crafters. It would take a year of unemployment to duplicate that.

But it's fun as hell to log into the PvP dude ranch and mix it up a bit.

My point is this - if they aren't doing away with the PvP test server, if it is going to remain, and it has no permanent population really, why wipe the server? It adds value to my EQ2 subscription, and allows people who talk smack from various servers to meet up and go one on one with well geared toons.

What would be the purpose of destroying this new-found fun now?

You know, just because they wipe the server doesn't mean the beta buffers won't come back right? It's probably better to wipe the server every now and then since it's just going to contain copied/beta buffed characters anyway

I happen to enjoy my characters on PvP, but at the same time I love my toons on PvE. I think playing on Nagafen makes it a whole new game (one in which I can log on during lunch and gank people, or get ganked as the case has been most recently!)

Well, it takes about an hour to make and organize a new toon. Sure that isn't a huge deal, but if I had my choice, it would be just to leave it like it is - maybe wipe it every six months or so if too many unused toons accumulate.

It takes 5 minutes. save your hotkeys, load them up. Gear, double click.

Actually I don't think I'll miss the gong sound of every fucking spell resisting while I get pummelled by people chasing my 48% mount and using ranged CA's in motion without a miss. Nope! I regret even the temptation.
