Thread: Grinding the last 50AA

I do not know, but I'd love to hear what others have to say. The last 50-60 AAs sucks to grind. Quests dont give much (2-3%), Nameds barely give any xp (1-2%), kills (unless heroic and unmentored and solo) won't give much.

I sometime groups with my brother who is also my RAF buddy so we share the 200% bonus, and while I get 1 AA while duo'ing an heroic dungeon, he gets like 3-4 AAs with 100-125 total.

I wish it was like EQ1, where the XP doesn't slow down, it's always the same, but then they have like 10,000 AAs lol.

Den of the Devourer. Even though it's an instance, all the trash respawns after about 10 minutes. Not sure if the XP will be to your taste though. Nest is great. Palace of the Awakened is the holy grail because the mobs aren't very social so you only pull what you need to and won't get overwhelmed.

Solo: PoA, Upper Seb, the hole waves on elemental side.
If you can get a hold of a tank buddy or 1 or 2 others: upper and lower seb, the hole elemental side, TSO dungeons, SF dungeons, chelsith, KoS dungeons and raids.

Or you can just start doing DoV shit (if you are 90 already) as 250 is just fine, and grind it out that way.

Edit: Would help to know what level the toon you are trying to finish off is.

I box my healers with a not-so-well-geared SK, and Clefts and SoS are really good places. PoA is awesome, agreed, but you have to pay more attention to the toon doing the following than you do in either of the first 2 places. I didn't find Chelsith to be faster than rinse/repeat the top floor of Clefts, tbh.

I do Nest and Den once a day, also the Chrono Task. Cazel's Mesa, The Roost, Court of Innovation, Deathfist Citadel, Pirate's Cache, etc etc. Anywhere there is a ton of mobs and no people!

The biggest issue with any of the places where you can mass pull is that they are camped most of the time on my server (AB).

I am a fan of the Den. Its not SUPER fast, but it does give you time for AFK's as needed (grab a snack, use the restroom, get/give a BJ, what have you) and its fairly steady. I tend to only use it on double exp weekends, because i detest grinding and the best part is no one to fight over mobs with.
