I play SOGA models for every race except Dark Elf females (ew) and Barbarian males.

My character was designed on the SOGA model. I hate the way they (default) made the elves look. Most of them have fat round faces, very un-elf like. Not that SOGA is perfect either, but lesser of the two evils, IMO.

The only faces they have gotten right were the Dark Elf female ones in the default models. The default humans look like they have downs syndrome. WTF?

SOGA models look better in my opinion. The default models gave the character a beer belly. Every time I saw an Ogre with the default model it looked like a giant teddy bear, all fat with a big belly. Once I turned on the SOGA models they actually looked cool to me.
The same with the dwarfs and halfings.
As for the elves, well they just look more elf like with the SOGA models. I mean who every heard of an elf with a beard?

Ok id personally say the topic isnt necessarily so clear cut as SOGA/Default. I love the SOGA heads, but the default bodies were a lot more 'normally' proportioned. Male toons arent so bad in SOGA but the females are stick thin and look wierd if not wearing bulky armour.

Hopefully the new skeletal change will allow choice of head types but on a single body type.

Soga makes everything look less detailed, starving, extremely underage, alien or all those things at the same time.

SOGA, I used to keep Ogres and Wood Elves off....but now I just keep all SOGA on cause I changed it once and never set it back, lol.

SOGA females are just too skinny. It looks like my legs would break if I jumped from somewhere high.

They need to give more hair styles for the default models! Let all the races choose from the same bank of hair styles would be best in my opinion.

I couldn't have said it any better.

I keep every race in default except human females. I can handle my toon looking anorexic, at least her face doesn't look like she just got hit by a ton of bricks.
