I didn't give a shit because it wasn't supposed to affect me.SOGA team was supposed to take care of all their assets so it didn't affect me as far as adding stuff and it was optional so it didn't affect how I played the game. Had I known then they were going to collapse into what they are now and essentially double the character art work load, I would have been right there since I was reading every thread on it at the time.

I've got no beef with anime as an art style is another reason. I loved Robotech and in general? Anime pound for pound beat out most western "cartoons" in the area of art quality for the 80's and early 90's. Akira was a masterpiece of art as well. My only problem with anime right now is the pop associated with it that let's garbage seem good because so many people swallow it. Oh look! crazy_hair_ hero guy # 2000! Oh look! these guys are soo cool because half their face is covered with hair! All ignoring the art is largely uninspired,recycled, overplayed garbage and that they are relying on non-critical fascination to sell product...wait, nm that's pop in general.

I've read a good number of your posts and I still can't figure out if your beef is with anime as an art style, anime as fits in the game world or the pop anime culture.
