Well, ok. I'm game.

"1.) Slix has been an incredibly helpful member of the Fury Forum since it was launched. Widem as well.
2.) Since the whole structure was implemented, all leaders have had absolute authority and we were told in no uncertain terms they could do whatever they pleased. Why this is shocking to people is beyond me.
3.) The system works perfectly. Besides Caliglan being mean, this is the sole complaint and it is allowed to be aired.
4.) Slix's mistake was that editing a post elevated those that had effectively lost the argument onto some sort of moral high-horse. It was unnecessary as the continued moronic posts only dug their hole deeper.
5.) The fact of the matter is, Slix can and should do whatever the hell he wants in his own forum. If you don't like it, don't get involved if your guildmate gets called out for posting stupid things."

It is conceivable I am misreading this, but this certainly doesn't appear to me that you are calling him a retard that "fucked up the thread".

Does anyone else find it funny that through out this post parties from both sides are trying to outdo the opposing persons vernacular? While this by itself may not be that funny, heres what I think is. With all of these people waxing eloquent, turning phrases and being general "smart people", all of this ends up being about a deleted post on a MMORPG fan site forum. This fact makes you all dumb.

The fact remains Slix is a very knowledgable Fury. The Fury section has some great information and Slix has managed it very well. I didn't like him editing someone's post and told him so. Rather than throw the baby out with the bath water, I'm content with the process.

They support me as their boss but don't agree with every descision I make. Supporting your boss doesn't mean you agree with them all the time. On major descisions I've thought were wrong, I've made it clear and been on record as disagreeing.

There is a world of difference between supporting someone and supporting every descision they make.

Look. There's not gonna be a solution to this. Most people who actually have knowledge support some pretty decent moderation in the class forums. They don't support it here in these other forums, or anywhere else on the site. Slix editted a post, it probably should have just been deleted if he didn't want it there. No real big issue anymore. Slix is a top end Fury, why wouldn't you want him controlling the influx of information in the informational posts?

I don't understand why someone wouldn't want their class forums heavily moderated.
