Now if you look at the thread, I show up to tell people that Goozer's post was verified by other parses, and to stick up for him hitting that 3k. Then you tell me, "stick it up your ass." I really hope that is off topic, because if the Fury boards are all about sticking things up people asses I have to wonder what your class is really on a raid for. Although I guess it explains why you post there so much. But I'm going to assume this is a flame, and that opens the door for more flamage.

What follows are posts from you and your typical string of simple insults, Razieh and Pinski insulting my guild, and Trumak showing up to insult Goozer and me. Those posts are still there, and unchanged.

If the posts are still there when I get home I'll use your favorite tactic of quoting the posts since you seem to simple minded to simply go look for yourself what was actually posted.

And way to drag your bullshit from thread to thread, Widem. You got your ass handed to you in the MT group and healer parse thread, but here you are again trying to make your case in another. I would call you pathetic again, but I don't think I even have to say it anymore.

Actually I would, because it started out on my server forum, and was moved here. I saw what was edited and was immediately slammed back to the original forums and how the mods used to edit posts there when they first started, until the posters started questioning them about it and they were forced to stop and were only allowed to delete posts. The parallels are hard to miss, I merely pointed them out.

I don't think eq2flames is becoming like the official forums, I just think that it was an abuse of power, and now that LFG has said that the class forum mods shouldn't edit others posts unless they are breaking rules, then what I'm upset about has been handled, and I can exit the conversation.

Yeah it was probably not the best thing to do but being involved in the thread I got a little pissed off at him tolling around. And I hate trolls more then anything else...want to post something constructive or post a point about the converstation, or rebuttle a point made by someone else fine go ahead post all you want....troll the thread and I get pissed.

Its a fourm, I dont get paid, I dont get any benfit from doing it other then spending time giving info on my class to others in the game. My life goes on just fine without ever needing to come here.

Lol, I'm not looking for an apology, and I don't even need an explanation. You wanted a laugh at my expense, or to just flex your moderator muscle. Having admined Flames, I'd agree with this. It causes a misrepresentation of the poster, one that they cannot correct. Do it as a reply, sure, or even delete the post if it's that far out of line, but to change someone's post on them (beyond enforcing liability rules) should be a no-no.

Alright I feel compelled to say this!

1. Elleffgee I deleted one of your post that was clearly spam :P and thats the only post i have edited/deleted ever!
2. Alania you are being an over dramatic thespian.
3. Ashimoria you were being a TOOL at the time just posting one liners on par with Calbiyum, while it was not just what was done but it was still funny.
4. To Lorak, Rival guilds? I think you are trying to turning this into something on a whole new level.

I don't think who has a fury alt should play into this at all personally, I just said that after it felt like you were calling me out for posting there Ashimoria. I did not notice any one calling you out on that previously maybe another thread or I just missed it.

EDIT** In reply to Calathine, I agree, I personally would not edit a post(since I hated it so much when people edited mine on the official boards) ill delete it if it violates rules or reply to it.

Can someone explain to me why exactly mods need the ability to edit posts at their own leisure?

Sure I can understand deleting, locking threads, etc... within reason

But I dont quite get the absolute power of editing anything anyone says into whatever they choose.

I'm a mod on my own guild's forums and I would never even consider doing what was shown in this thread.

I just have the feeling this is not the last time we are gonna see something like this happen.
