I do almost all my T7 farming on my coercer now because they can do absolutely amazing tricky-dick shit. For soloing, wizards definitely do not have the edge, especially when social aggro is involved. But when you duo a wizard with a chanter? Absolute murder.

Fable used a zerker most of the time too, but that was mainly due to really shitty guardians.

Re: EQ2 PVE: What is the most OVERPOWERED class?
I'm not too much of a raider (I do raid sometimes though, but not like many on these forums) so I picked it from a group and solo point of view. I love Necromancers but... even with treasured gear, my Necromancer can kill a yellow-con heroic!* When can my Guardian ever do that?! (OK, the pet was an Adept III... but still, I was surprised!)
Then again I need to consider my playstyle - although I've had my Swashbuckler for almost two years, I find the Necromancer far easier to play. Hence why Natala (alt on Befallen) is level 51 and Imtithal's level 54. I actually find Swashbucklers hard to play but that's a whole different story.
Just... the things I can solo as my Necromancer... wow...
*(The Necromancer, Imtithal, is on the Nagafen server, but I am talking about Imtithal versus NPC mobs here, and not players. Just so you know.)

Lets face it, several classes have the ability to solo the mobs brawlers can - but NO classes have the ability to get to those mobs as easily.
FD on a 2-5 minute recast would change my vote.
FWIW: for raiding i would be torn between Brigs and zerks.

Re: EQ2 PVE: What is the most OVERPOWERED class?
i think a lot of you are thinking of the word useful, not overpowered.
brigands are definitely useful on raids. of course, so warriors. and shamans.
if your brigand is topping the parses, your assassins and swashbuckers need to get some better buffs or quit being lazy. brigands aren't top dps by themselves.
debuffs are incredible, no argument there. the ability to stay in and not get hit by most aoes is pretty nice too (though that's changing soon, from the looks of it). but, i don't really see that as making the class overpowered, just useful. after all, what is a raid without a warrior tank? now take away your warders. how far do you think you'll get tarinax down? calling a brigand overpowered based on raid usefulness is a bit silly, in my opinion.
as a soloer, brigands aren't overpowered. wardens definitely are. if it can be rooted, it can be killed by a solo warden. in groups, i don't think there's such a thing as overpowered.

Re: EQ2 PVE: What is the most OVERPOWERED class?
Very true Illumin, Didnt think of Coercer/illusionist when i posted. Wizards can do stuff solo that i couldn't dream of attempting on my brig, or warrior.

A major aspect of all raids and boss mobs tend to revolve around an AE of some type or another. Amazing reflexs completely bypasses that mechanic. This makes Brigands overpowered for raids, since they can completely bypass one the most common raid mechanics. However, i agree their DPS is not overpowered.
What info are you refering to a change to amazing reflexs, because i havent heard a word.
