Cas, we've already had the whole "elitist" convo, and you're right, there are a lot more good people on test than there are bad ones.

"Good people" being there doesn't make it a place where testing is getting done that's appropriate to all levels of the game.

A chat channel like test.test was a great place for the rest of us to say, omg, do you believe the crap that went on in this <raid zone> <EoF zone> <other zone that's not on test repertoire> and maybe get some people from other servers (or even the few on test that are capable) to have a look. The coders were/are in that channel, the devs might come hang out, the Quality Assurance people, people who could and would do something about a problem, or even just tell us why it was happening and that they'd already fixed it internally, patch inc on <this date>.

To knowingly remove yourselves from a channel like that when you play on T E S T server and have volunteered to make yourselves responsible for T E S T I N G is just.. well, I don't have the words. Which is why I posted. Again.

I care about what that server is about, I completely believe it can be a good starting point for changes/updates to the game, IF we have the tools and we're all on the same page. Yeah, we'd prolly be upset if people were in our channels from other servers talking about stuff that wasn't in our normal days play time.. but you guys aren't on a normal server, as much as you wanna think you are. You have volunteered to play on Test.. where.. well.. we test things coming to the production servers. Your server belongs to all of us, not just you.

Mheryl - I will never remove myself from the Test channel.

MeridianR - I apologize for making you so angry, not sure what I said that would have done that. I do test, I am not actively testing every second of my time in the game but I do test. I would suggest that my efforts have an impact but there is no way for me to prove it to you. I am assuming, based on the passion and anger you are aiming at me that you already do play on test and spend a fair bit of time doing your own testing. Please send me a tell next time your on doing testing and I will be happy to offer what assistance i can with the testing your doing.

Assuming something is not often a good way to start posts. LVL 1-9 is being used to post links of loot both looted and that people already have not as a replacement to test. I have not heard anyone say they have left the /test channel. I don't think anyone has even suggested it as a replacement to /test.

Thanks Casius for a post that shows some class. People on test still have to pay to play just like on live. We have to play and level and not always test to get high enough to be of use for new changes. So come make a character and join in the fun we have testing all levels and aspects of the game. I would be glad to help anyone that needs a hand.

Didn't I just read that there isn't anyone testing end-game stuff? What guild on there is raiding all the stuff to make sure it's not broken or that the new combat changes are working in raids as expected?

One thing I'd love for them to fix is why when you wipe and have to rev in zone that at least 3 people have to fully restart the game. Shit I'd love to test that out over and over until they fix that. Waiting for people to relog takes forever.

There's a raiding guild and an alliance of casual raiders, but they lack numbers. They have players boxing, betraying/leveling their needed classes instead of recruiting like a normal server and such and while that's a stopgap, it's tough to raid in that situation. I've been too involved in my live guild although I have two nearly 70 toons on test and hope to help out more when I can.

Of course the supposed answer would be to allow total copies to simply get live guilds to test, but that spawns other problems in its own right.

Yes there is a raid guild on Test. The guild name is Unholy Trinity. We actually fill our raid with all four groups full most nights. We are still looking for more and helping those that join us to gain raiding level. KOS is raided and beaten on a regular basis to gear up newer players. We have FTH in progress and have spent several hours in EH but need to work some on that zone. We also revisit the t5 and t6 instances a few times a month to see if they are still as much fun. So the shorter answer is there is raiding nightly and trust me we all are active on feedback. Getting booted changing characters and other issues concern us as well.

A tip on your wipe revive issue. Only have one group at a time revive and that seems to stop the crash issue. To many hitting revive at once is where that problem comes from.

why the fuck would you test shit thats already been out in game for over a year are you guys fucking morons? that content was tested by us when it went live. you guys do absolutely shit and thats the god honest truth...at this point in time we have already done 8months worth of testing on stuff you guys havent even begun to undertake...good fucking job shitbags

Weird thing is that if there really is only 1 raid guild on test, why aren't the devs feeding players weapons to test and whatnot? Use them for the zone and then once you zone out they are gone. Do a /feedback and taa daa.

Is there ever test cases of things like "how did that raidzone feel?" or do you guys just do a general /feedback ?

If you have problems with the raid guild on test, the best way to solve those problems are to go over and help.
