Then you are obviously out of touch with the player base of this game. Ive never played with anyone younger than the age of 17 and of the people i know that play that are under 20 theres maybe 10 tops. Maybe thats why they have been dumbing down the encounters b/c of morons like you.

I think that is why people want SOE to allow their characters to be copied over which I think you understand. The part where I think you are having the conflict is "The problem lies with SOE for not allowing character copy, and in the face of that reality it lies with live players not willing to go the extra mile." The extra mile that they're taking is fighting the no character copy (or some of them anyway).

Don't blame people on test for the lack of numbers, that is NOT their fault. The problem lies with SOE for not allowing character copy, and in the face of that reality it lies with live players not willing to go the extra mile.

Come create a char on test, and level it up, unfortunately that is the only option available atm., and some of us are doing just that. If you are not willing to put in that effort, then blame SOE for not allowing proper testing, not the people that are actually trying with whatever little they have.

So, the problem is actually easily solved. Stop whining and do something about it, all it takes is a bit of effort

Ummm, we kill shit with 3 groups or less on a regular basis. I'm only asking that you realize that what you are accompishing for this game is equating to one giant goose egg.

Trust me, the people I am guilded with on test do understand the fact that they are expected to test everything, and they try, and they wish they could do better. But how can you test high end content if you never have enough players to form a proper raid?

Give them a break. The lack of testing of high end raid content is not the fault of the people who try to do it, it's the fault of soe for not creating the conditions for doing it (be those handing out proper gear, allowing char copy from live, or whatever else).

I missed some of what I wanted to put into my post because I am at work and was in a hurry. I want to make one thing clear I do not in any way blame the players on the Test Server. My issue is w/ the way that SOE has chosen to handle it's Testing methods. For example if they are implementing the Set Armor with certain set bonuses then they should design maybe two versions of the armor with bonuses added to different abilities. Then when there is a group of people that have the capability of raiding they should be able to zone into EH, for example, hail a GM or someone in that zone be given one version of the set armor for this trip to examine parses and possible broken procs and so forth. Then, on a return to trip to the zone the next night or day (since it is test they could forego the timer) they would each be given the alternate set to test and see which one is more effective for a each class. The same can be done with weapons and jewelery items as well.

Also, this is why I feel that having Test as it's own, practically Live Server is not working the way it is intended. This server should be for both Casual Guilds and Hardcore guilds to as well as the average casual grouping player to have the option of testing the content that needs testing. And yes I am talking about copying characters, buffing them then wiping the server after the major testing is finished. In all honesty that policy and system will work much better than the one that is in place atm...

But your disso - you have the best of the best gear and some of the best player the live servers have to offer -

You didnt start by doing the raid content with 3 groups - you started with 4 - that is where they are - you guys have always had the best gear with the some of the best players for ther class.... its not FAIR to compare yourselves with them.

2nd, you make it sound like you joined some fucking club. The only difference is you rolled a char on another server that doesn't have a player base.

In TEST's defense though, testing is a thankless job. Something breaks all fingers point to testers. SOE's problem is they don't want to give anyone an advantage of allowing char copies to test. I have no idea what SOE's strategy is for public testing and the goals they have, but judging from the rest of the playerbase those goals are not being met.

Then Disso's Players should be able to copy their characters to a different TESTING server and actually TEST the content so that when it comes out it is not as fucked up as it has been in the past...
