Elaine I play a Templar. Remember LU13? Yeah I know the frustrations of a fundamental change, and my point to him was that the person they are complaining about handles all the classes so it would be difficult for him to know them as intimately as I'm sure all the players would like. It also would seem silly to me call someone an idiot based on a small percentage of their job. I made that point and I'm done in that respect. Thanks for the call to return to topic though, it was sorely needed I'm sure. :smiley-happy:

I'm sorry, but if you aren't in EC, you aren't raiding contesteds. Which is all I said. "You're on Befallen, and not in EC, so it's obvious you aren't controlling contested mobs." I'm guessing, you don't read the whole post before making your comments? Yah.

Oh I read it and I had two options a) ask you to explain how contested mobs define people that raid (because if it does then there are less "raiders" than I thought and they need to stop making so much content) or b) draw conclusions from your statement that you might have been making.

Screw getting back on topic, you're pissing me off.

The entire point of his post was that he thought he took the time to get to know the coercer class intimately, when the post did nothing but betray how little he knew about the class.

So lets talk about those ROLLS you lost for raid gear...

I agree completely. I was one of the few people who DIDN'T bitch and moan after LU13. I wasn't happy with what we could do solo (not in general but you know there are solo instances and quests that are nice to be able to do) but once they upped our damage? I haven't had a single issue since.

I never stated Templars were at ANY point subpar healers. The issues Templars had were with utility and damage all of which have been corrected. I can't disagree with you at all, but I haven't seen the post in question, and I'm assuming Ishbu didn't goad him. Either way, no, he shouldn't lash out at anyone. I get frequently reminded I represent a site, and I try and act accordingly.

I think you are also assuming I'm trying to "defend" Lockeye. I do in fact like him, but I don't need to defend him. He makes mistakes like everyone else. He's not an idiot though.

Sorry to come back to this post...well, not sorry....

It may seem silly to you, but it is not uncalled for. I am a lawyer (well, about to be one...if i passed the bar). If, say, a litigator writes frivolous complaints but argues them well...it doesn't matter how well he can argue, he is still an idiot for writing frivolous complaints. A failure small percentage of one's job can be a very good indicator of greater incompetence.
