These are called game testers Snark. I would not wanna play beta if it was only one zone or encounter. And unless they paid me I don't see the point in telling them all the bugs with the game. Beta is to see how people like the game and what they are doing more often so SoE can work on areas people are avoiding or dislike. They know there will be bugs, but you are suggesting the idea that is already there. On the fact of letting whole raid guilds into beta.....Pros, allows them to see what strats they will come up with and enable them to make the mob harder in areas and make the players think more. Cons, guilds can world first the mobs because they have an idea of what SoE will do. In all actuallity it really doesn't matter who world firsts something because it's a video game...if it did matter, SoE wouldn't allow any players to play beta or let devs play the actual game in Hardcore raid guilds.

If that is the truth, then SOE should not praise beta guilds for their WW 1sts.

From what i understand (very limited) up till last night no copied toons were in Eof beta. I think that worries more than who was copied. With about a month away no eof raid/high end content has been tested at all.
I Liked the idea of a dedicated test/beta guild . Real progression and actual difficult encounters could also eliminate some of the first there first to clear problems this game has.BTW soe difficult does not mean impossable and we will nerf later.

Beta is a test. That's why it's called beta testing. You aren't supposed to play it to see if you like it. You're supposed to test if it works the way it's supposed to with real players trying to break stuff.

I am kinda fucking worried that no toons have been copied yet, and we are like 1 month away from launch.

Seriously, I am not understanding what the fuck is going on. This expansion was supposed to be in the works for months already...and nothing at level cap has been tested yet?

I agree that is pretty noteworthy lol, especially considering that a year ago, y'all might have made the first post in that forum =p

But just because someone's toon hasn't been copied to EoF doesn't mean they aren't in EoF beta right now. I bet a ton of people not in beta would jump at the chance to just go around and check everything out on a beta buffed toon. And I'm not sure anyone doubts that actual toon copies will make it over this week. So in fact, yall will still get a month to spend checking out EoF, on your main toons, before the rest of us.

Anyway, peace, as I said, I have no problem with anyone currently in your guild.
