When I work, and its rare, I work for my mom.
Much like my vaunted metrosexuality, its out there because I put it out there. Or in the case of Mel, because I wanted to fuck her and let her come to my house.
Speaing of Mel, if all your leet inside Gaige infoz comes from her, well... she has her own problems.
I can't really think of anyone else off the top of my head who frequents (or used to) the NGD and has been in my house and touched my penis irl.
So that is pretty much the jist of it. In order for any of your pot shots to really matter to me, I'd have to be ashamed of the leet inside infoz you have about my personal life/living situation, which I'm not. If I were, I wouldn't have brought anyone from game to my house, or touched thier vagina on my couch.
So yeah.

Actually I have NO clue who "Mel" is, and I really don't have a Gaige "source".
All of the mocking I was going to add was instantly negated by the fact that you had vagina on your couch.
Don't get me wrong. I want to mock, tease, flame, yada....but the guy part of my brain is going..

And I guarantee all of you whining would bitch harder if that were the case.

Fumtik, this is honestly the stupidest fucking post in this thread. Congrats.
Here's the bottom line, you arent a high end raider and this post clearly shows you dont understand the situation. Dissolution was offered to be copied to beta as a guild. I explained to them exactly why we would prefer not to be. It is simple, whole guilds getting to test and re-test this content that is supposed to be new and challenging for everyone weeks upon weeks ahead of time is pathetic, lame, and wrong. There are other ways of testing it.
I do know for a fact that guilds get into beta, not based on their feedback, but based on if a developer likes them as a guild. What your post should have said if they put shitty random players together you cant test it. I could easily take a few people from a guild here, a guild there, and so on, build a competent raid and test this content thouroughly.
Next time try and learn soemthing about a conversation before posting about it because you honestly look like oen of those fucking dumbasses who has no fucking clue at all.

Re: I love how SOE picks their beta testers.
Ah dammit, and I had some good Mel flames going.
Crappy.
But yes Coyote, I've had two EQ2 chicks kiss me before. One from AB at the first Fan Faire in the VIP room. With plenty of witnesses!
The other was Mel, with no witnesses, but oh well.
I pay attention... and I learned a thing or two from the MJ/LMP wedding. Ha ha.

I generally agree with you, but just wanted to clarify one point.
I want to reassure everyone who isn't in beta that you can pretty much say anything you want about beta here, provided that information was properly obtained and not improperly disclosed to you, since you obviously aren't subject to the beta NDA.
If you want to see who's in beta, just add them to your friends list from a live server. If SoE provides the public with easy tools to discover who's in beta, and has taken no steps to prevent that, I have no problem with you figuring that out on your own and talking about it on this site. IMO, SoE's complete failure to protect such information and prevent it from being easily discovered is the same as making it publicly available - they've waived any right they may have to later claim it is confidential.
What you cannot do on this site is violate the NDA if you are in beta. And as Kriddle points out, that means you can't say you are in beta if you are in beta. But if you aren't in beta and can easily figure out who is in beta because SoE made it easy for you to do that by logging into the live servers, that's their problem, and not mine. And frankly, I think if they actually cared about that information or even deemed it confidential, they would have taken greater steps to protect it.

I agree.
They shouldn't need to test it by putting a full raid guild up in front of it, at least if the designs are sound. Typically what needs testing is making sure scripts fire correctly and things aren't impossibly out of balance - none of which needs a raid guild working as a functional unit.
You can't reasonably test an encounter against a raid guild anyway unless you are prepared to give them several nights of your time to hammer at the encounter over and over again both before and after they've beaten it so you can see how the tactics are refined and what the encounter's difficulty does as people gear up.
Most people who get into "beta" have no real concept of how to test a game anyway. That's the stupidity of public betas in the first place. It's much more a PR exercise than it is a "finding bugs" exercise.

I can't deny that I'm in Dissolution, nor will I apologize for attempting to run a message board with a level playing field while being in this guild. The only way it would be possible to completely eliminate that appearance of bias would be if this board was Admin'd by someone who wasn't in any guild, and who didn't play EQ2.
But again I respectfully disagree with you. I read everything posted here, and in my perception I believe that your posting possee is at least as strong as anyone else's. And that's ok.
So while I can't eliminate the appearance of bias, I will assure you that all rules and admin decisions here will be enforced and made consistently and without regard to guild.
I hope you will at least agree that your rights to speak here are more strongly enforced and protected than mine ever were in NGD.
