I'm not all that impressed with this Ex-Pack(I'll explain). The screenshots are, well good ones but there is a couple of things I want to point out that I find very strange.

I have to agree 100% with a previous poster that the full set bonus comes from WOW. Actually it started in Diablo 2 and carried on into the LOD Ex-Pack and on into WOW there after. Can you say copycats SOE?

The landscape and the tinkered mobs well if you have ever played Morrowind or any of those games (that came out YEARS ago) in that series you know that whole zone was stolen by SOE. I'm talking all the way down to the mushroom huts, the fey the whole 9 yards. Again can you say copycats?

After seeing the capes or what ever they are calling them, I dont think I'll be wearing one unless they give some uber buffs or stats. But we will see.

I am glad there will be a new zone but not all impressed with the build. SOE has some talent but I would have liked to see them come up with something more original. I hate to see them cut and paste. Once again we will have to deal with it. I hope my dissapointment at the moment will be overturned once we get to try out the new zone.

Tinkered mobs were in the ORIGINAL EQ1 Ak'anon...clockwork spiders...

There are things I liked about WoW and things I didnt,the same could be said with EQ2. My preference is EQ2 and if they bring some of the things from WoW that WoW did better or invented ill be the last one to bitch because I could give a fuck where the idea came from as long as the idea works and is fun.

The entire genre of MMO games is one big incest pool. Everyone borrows from one another adding their own little twists here and there to attempt to make the best MMO out there.

There were full armor set bonuses in diablo2 which you could play online but got old real fast. Never played WoW other than playin a friends toon for about 20 minutes before i could no longer bare it. Im sure it was not a Diablo original idea either but you never know i guess.
