vanguard did this, its actually a very good idea, they get more testers and get to make more money with their magazine. i wish more companies would do this kind of thing.

It'd be awesome if SOE actually ran betas with the intention of testing content rather than using it as some marketing bullshit.

They did this with EQ2 beta way back, buy lords of everquest our crappy game, and get into 2nd or 3rd round beta access. The game sucked ass though, and I think I might have installed it once.

lol i did the same thing with lords of everquest, piss ass game but it came with an eq2 beta key. I went be spending money on the magazine tho..iv gotten into every other beta im not worried.

PFFT Warcraft 3 is an amazing RTS!!! I saw this and had to laugh pretty hard, its a good idea don't get me wrong but still funny.
