Our DKP hosting site will be similar to the one here.

Are any guilds interested in this, if we put it up?

Hey, we've also got an offer to use a DKP system developed by one of our users for his guild, so we'll likely be putting up a suite of DKP systems.

If you have one you especially like and it is available to be licensed, please post below and we'll consider it also.

I'll turn off advertising and provide a title for any user who recommends a system we can use.

You know, LFG, you could offer guild forums for any guilds that would like them, and then you would be a complete self-sufficient entity.

That ain't a bad idea. They would have to be private and PW protected for the guild and it's members, with nothing in violation of our site rules. They would also have to use a system where the guild leader had mod rights to his or her own guild section, and the ability to give and revoke user PWs to members.

Niber, are these things possible? We would want to offer these services for free, since I assume guildportal charges and this could save people some money.

All you do is have the option for the guild leader to give his guildmates' accounts access privileges and have a recruitment forum available for the public. I don't know how many resources this would take up, but I think it would work well with the DKP pages AND recruitment here.

Yar, I'd need to add a new section, but the guild forums beneath it could be subforums, so it would only add one additional line of height to the main page. I think it's a good idea, and would be willing to hook it up if Niber can figure out how to make it work for operational and security purposes.

Oh man, can you imagine the plethora of flames that could come out of the guilds having websites on this site? It would take it to a whole new realm.

I think the public forums for each guild could possibly produce some lively results and add some real entertainment to this site.

Would any guild be interested in free, private forums that also include a public section and a recruiting section? Again, we'd have to hook it up so the guild leader had mod rights over his own sections, public and private. This would have to work like the class sections, which have worked like a charm and taken almost zero time from me.
