Seeking ideas to make people less upset about the ads - Page 15

I also just got an add that popped up a message box and then attempted to install an ActiveX control.

This ad company must be a real respectable place to allow that sort of thing in their system.

One might say that the ads on a site reflect the community that it serves. If that is the case I'd say that this community has a lot of malware infected, pr0n addicts.

I sent a request to the ad company to remove all pop ads, and to either take out the audio on the others or turn it way down or something. I also asked them not to run ads with the word "SEX" in our banners out of NSFW concerns. This is the response:

Good deal... I'll donate eventually. But I'm broker than a joker this month, and I want to be able to browse here at work... and those malware ads are noplzkthxbye.

There's a 1 to 2 hour delay between when ads are removed and when they stop displaying. Please be assured that drive cleaner ad with popups and all others won't be on this site again within a few hours.

Thanks for removing the pop up drive cleaner thing.
I love the site and always have, but I shy away from sites that attempt to install crap on my system.
Adds are fine and its good to see the progresion this site has made.

I thought this title was gonna debate about adds on raids or something. haha. i know better than too click the ads so it dont bother me any.
