kriddle, i've never really spoken with you, but you strike me as one of the more level-headed players around. your post backs that up. it's unfortunate that you have to deal with the immaturity of those other players, and moreso, the developers.
anyway, back to the topic. i do wish more about the actual process was released to us... and that there was a way that we could get in touch with them better, or at least know what they think of our ideas. if they really care, they need to take it another step and actually get involved with more than 5% of the players. if they don't care what we think, they should just say that and eliminate the /feedback command.
personally, i like the idea of giving feedback, and i'd like to see the game improve from where it is and have some of the players good ideas make it into the mix.

The bug reporting system is stupid. I swear, they either never read em, or when they do, they get tucked away somewhere where they don't get evaluated til months later. Very annoying.

On the dev front...They seriously take soo much abuse. I'd be a teeny bit cranky too.

They wouldn't have to take so much abuse if they took the time to make the software higher quality in the first place. I'm sorry but they charged good money and released sub-par code. Time to pay the piper. They should go to their bosses and say "We really need a good quality process I'm tired of all our customers being really pissed off at the quality of our product."

And yeah customers REALLLLLY don't like it when the feel like they aren't being listened to at all. They need a better feedback system that at least leaves their customers thinking they were heard. I say as I type on a message board that exists so people can share ideas and be heard... lol

Since it is illegal to post them on the official SoE boards couldn't we just make a section here? You know to post the screenshots of the bugs and what not, eventually lots of people will know about it, and whamo they will have no choice but to let it continue or fix it

I can't tell you how long Nek Castle zone has been bugged. It's one of the reasons why I refuse to group there. The mobs that you need to complete quests never pop when they're supposed to and you're sitting there with your dick in your hand waiting for the mob to pop. I thought camps were gone, for EQ2. Guess not.

There is so much they need to relook at, fix, and impliment in the game, yet don't. The game is still fun for me, which is why I still give them my money. When it comes to the point that game is no longer fun for me, I'll quit. I did it with EQ1 and never looked back.

And I agree with the above poster. I think we should have a bug/exploit section in the board. We'd be able to really speak our mind without our threads getting locked or our accounts getting banned.

I like the idea of an EQ2 bug report section on this site. I would be happy to give someone ownership of a thread regarding bugs about their class, or specific issues, if they'd like, so they could update it to add more bugs or remove ones that have been fixed.

I'm putting a vote about this on this thread now.
