See its not the words that are said, its the intent of the message that should offend. Yeah I deserved it, I gave that girl hell, but what I said was pretty damn tame compared to some of the shit I saw on Nek public channels, and I don't think anyone has been banned from there for saying stuff in a public channel. But supposedly, on Unrest, we lost Kelsett due to his repeated retardedness in public channels. Ya for selective enforcement!

heh yea true. a buddy of mine was high and he decided to check out the game and play for a while as i guided him around doing shit, and he decided to chime in during dead baby joke HOUR (yes hour) with some of the classics. the thing is, no one got in trouble for that (there were like 6 people going off the whole time, i asked em all later), but people get in trouble for using filtered words more than anything (again true)??? seems like they have the same GMs policing the channels as are running the official forums. fuck em, i say. dont even need to explain that one. the reason this site was created is basis enough (see the latest thread on the "next" big combat revamp ........)

FYI to the oh so bad to bone here. I am not offended by potty mouth. I simply do not see the need for it when it is used merely to show how bad you are. 20 years in the military has grown my off color vocabulary quite well thank you. I am not offended, I just think there is a time and a place for it and most of you have acknowledged as much. I simply posit that a public channel is not that place.

To date your argument consists of "If your so thin skinned then /filter" Since I am not that thin skinned, that argument falls flat. Now, then, at what point as you were thinking it makes you a man to curse did you feel a public channel was the right place?

I'd hate to interject and ruin said little world you thrive in Madrix, but reporting people because they curse is essentially being a giant douche, it's a cut and dry situation of you not being able to handle what the world can throw at you...

Which leads me to my conclusion : Enjoy your career at McDonalds, at least they don't curse there!

I often use the service provided by McDonalds. I love my said little world too! In case you had not noticed my prior career, I assure you I can handle a lot thrown at me. Let me say this slowly for you.

There is a time and a place for everything. The public channels are never the right place for displaying that you are a member of the lower castes of society.
