I think the point is that they are trying to show that the public channels are now being policed and that if you want the ability to speak your mind you better do it very very carefully or get banned for saying something like VAGINA.
I always wondered why the hell a game company puts a PROFANITY FILTER in a game and then bans people for turning it off and getting offended. The result is quite stupid and a catch 22. If your gonna police for bad language take out the fucking filter as it serves no purpose then.
