If they are bumping the level and scaling the loot of the current avatars why don't they just do the same for every contested mob currently in game?

However, as for the all solo overland zone things...Who doesn't remember how much of a hellhole nektulos forest was before the change? With the masses of owl bears, and fire bats everywhere...It may have been hell to run through, BUT it was an dark and scary forest, IT SHOULD HAVE SHIT EVERYWHERE that just owns you in the face if you're a newb. I'm so mother fucking tempted to just say fuck it at this point...and this is coming from someone whose been horribly addicted to this game since launch, 10+ hours a day 7 days a week. >_<

I did both my betrayals before Nektulos was revamped, and it was fucking scary (the real shame was that my soon-to-be-necro got invis shortly after the run).

EDIT: Actually, now that I think about it, my Paladin-turned-SK used the spires.

Apparently this is done because most of SOE's feedback is that people dislike playing with other players so they just decided to make all overlands solo.

I haven't thrown in the towel yet but I am getting very close to it and this is a tough thing to do coming from a player who is averaging 15 hours a day with 2 accounts and considering a 3rd.

Bloody well hope its a new loot table. Oh and the Avatars better have different/new tricks rather than just spawning adds and a power drain.

I don't have time to read the whole thread right now, but they'll be getting new loot tables, and yes, new abilities.

No, current avatar loot will not be scaled upward. I'm not sure where that idea came from. The strengthened avatars will come well equipped with new toys. =)

I'd give them all Green Mist. That's an awesome ability that needs to be utilized more.
