Default Looting Changes:

Looting Changes:
  • Attempting to loot a chest/corpse that gives you the ‘There are no items that you can loot’ message will now destroy the chest/corpse as long as no one in your group can loot the item.
  • When access restrictions wear off of a chest/corpse, all items that are picky about who can loot them will be removed. If this would leave the chest/corpse empty, it will be removed.
Im stupid explain pls

It means that if something drops that you can't use, but someone outside the group could, you can no longer hold the chest/corpse open and invite that person to loot it. The item will now be immediately destroyed.

Doubt it means alt-loot.

I think this is directed at the no trade items that are dropped for such as the shards that zombies drop in loping plains for the veil quest.

I REALLY doubt they will make items in raid non lootable.

actually I think It means body/chest drops for "No_trade" language/quest starter items. If you haven't noticed in groups lately that if you don't need the language items any longer that you can no longer loot the no-trade items for the 10s vendor trash they were... in fact if you don't need the item you don't even get to see the window anymore... thus if you see a body fall and it has a loot option, but it doesn't open a window when you click it... means you don't need the item. Therefore no rolling on language/ q-starters you can't use.

Its body loot only, so it would only apply to language quest loot and whatnot.

I am prone to believing this only applies to the quest update things and not to actual Lore loot, however I have yet to receive a response in my thread on the official forums.

That would be neato for nodrop raid items... no more alt loot, no more handing out to people who had to sit out, no more selling no-drop raid loot on 60-69... I hope it checks inventories for lore when it checks classes... that would kick ass.

Just think... casual raid guilds that would have to either set up a roster rotation or streamline their numbers... Hardcore guilds wouldn't get over 25 or 26 members, and those extra two are the guildy tradeskillers...

No more legendary players in fabled set items... no more interrupting your raid for someone to log out so the buyer can come in...
