Paladins need a crutch and guards dont? Sorry, i havent noticed all the guards running around tanking without dirges, coerecers, swash/aasasins. I will try to be more observant in the future.

my dirge ld's alot, assassin is sometimes drunk or stonesd and doesnt beat me on parses...and rarely have a coercer....all in all a 16 or 18?% transfer from a assassin doesnt even come close to a amends of a pally on a dps class(hence why i call it a crutch)...yet i still hold agro in FTH and MMIS just fine with my own dps/taunts and whatever i might get from transfer....agro control for a tank is about what happens in the first 15 seconds of the fight...if u can lock it down for the first 15, u should never lose a single target fight, least as a guardian imo.

On a side note, the hate mod froma dirge is nice, but i prefer em just because of the other buffs, CoB, stoneskin and the like....survivability is first priority as MT anyways..u dont kill stuff when your dead .

Wow so your Pally tank doesn't use a hate xfer toon, nor a dirge, nor a coercer? Only the Warlock?

Oh wait, if he wants to hold aggro he uses them also. In addition to his amends target/crutch.
