Guardian as OT

Just wondering can a Guardian OT just as good as a Pally or will Guardians struggle on that?

My secondary tank has always been another guardian, usually have atleast one extra dirge and/or coercer, and usually another swashy/assassin for transfer to help on mobs where true off-tanking (A-Drake in DT, Prince in EH, etc) is needed and goes just fine

Guardians are just as effective OTs as MTs.

Best execution on mobs that need a true tank, but least utility.

Yeh - Guardians do make the best offtanks. - Easy Snap agro - quick utility they can throw off so they don't get their asses handed to them. The one thing that they lack is offensive utility which is why guilds run with zerkers as offtanks. Personally I had a second guardian as my offtank for a few months. - Shit died a little slower but it was alot smoother at times.

I do agree that a guard is a good ot but (and yes there is a but). a pallys amends on a warlock is good as well the thing is if gear right can the pally stand up. like too see some input too this. group mobs are toast if pally and warlock in ma but can they handle the damg incomeing.

Yay for more people wanting a tank that needs a crutch...amends FTL. Reinforcement...AE's.....warlock still lives and u dont have to put a paladin in a slot u could have had a utility or dps class in.
