I'm around 700 - 1.2k. Mostly in the 800-900 range. Though my group is not really speced out to increase my DPS.

Currently STR/AGI/STA spec'd.

If I'm not the MT my DPS drops to around 500-700.

Yeah, what weapon are you using? That's pretty low if you're actually equipping your buckler. And thats a huge difference from being MT to non-MT. Buckler Reversal wont give you that big of an increase in DPS.

The Nathsar Shortsword from Crypt of Agony is a god-send for DPS boosting . It drops off the end-named.

I've been wondering that myself. Could be:

• My stats, Think my STR buffs into the 600's.
• Not sure on my weapon, I sometime use the Legendary SoD though I typically use a hate proc'ing one handed axe.
• Could be that I'm just spaming my CA's and not allowing my AutoAttacks to go through.

I'm sure there's something I'm doing wrong. In the past my focus was on as much Health as possible, Mit and hate generation.

If you have any suggestions, I'm always open to them. :D

My mostly used weapon is:
Ascendant
+22 STR, +22 AGI, +20 STA, +100 Power, +100 Health
Damage: 31-93 (77.49)
Delay: 1.6
Proc's 500 hate 1.8 times per minute.

What are the stats on that shortsword? What should I be looking for in a good weapon?

On a side note, I have been shopping to replace my buckler, there are much nicer ones out there.

I'm also getting into the habit of MT'ing in offensive stance.

BTW Looking at my stats on EQ2Players, it shows me at 465 STR. Not sure what buffs are up on that. I do remember seeing my STR in the 600's.

[Edit] The difference may be the group I'm in when not the MT. I'm guessing it's the difference in group buffs. Like I said, Our groups aren't typically optimized. Though we do our best to try. :D
