I switched my gladius to sabre for more dps in eof. Never had a problem taking damage back then.

Kinda sad that there are no defensive weapons in RoK that i've seen.

look at nothing but max damage and get it as high as possible.

usually you will only get this on high delay weapons (minimum of 3 delay but going up to 6 on some of the nicer drops from rok heroic zones)

To get most advantage you need to max out your crits dps and haste on these high delay weapons.

Ascendant is still clearly one of the best tank weapons in the game because threat procs are so cool!

That's what I thought. Now I'm not so sure.

If Ascendant was to proc roughly 2 times a minute that's 1000 hate a minute or 16.66 hate per second.

If DPS is 1 hate per 1 point of damage, then you would only need to increase your DPS by 16.66 to equal the hate production on Ascendant.

With my current DPS output I think it would be easy to make more than 16 extra DPS.

Now the question comes to mind is the hate proc from the axe a 1:1 ratio like DPS is?

Right now I go down to the 10% hate increaser for STR. I've been thinking of dropping this and putting the points into INT to help increase my haste. What do you think about doing that?

I do have the SoD Sabre. In your opinion, would that be better?

Bud - I was being sarcastic. Ascendant has always been crap. Get the higher delay weapons 1.6 delay is terrible 1 point of threat = 1 point of damage. Get a weapon with a better crit ratio.
