He said 2900 pure single target so I was guessing that meant no adds. I know when we fight Othysis, we usually only get the 1 add at about 5% health, but our dps isn't all that great.

I assumed the same thing here; we generally have a boat load of adds by the end of the fight. You guys doing the FD tank with no traumtic swipe technique? Cause 2900 single target is sweet.

Wow you guys must be the gods of DPs. I mean my guild can only do about 55-60k on that mob and we still get 2 adds during the fight. Seriously you guys are leet.

Like I said, our dps isn't that great. Only about 25-30k. If we had your DPS, we wouldn't get the 1 add.

We use a chanter memwipe/memblur rotation to keep the adds from spawning. I tank the mob the entire time except for 1-2sec losses on the memwipe.

The 2900 dps was the other guy. I do my 1500-2K at best.

Really trying here with what I've got hehe.

Tonight we did 4 zones...

FTH (MTed): 970 zonewide
CWM (MTed): 1156 zonewide
Chel'Drak (MTed): 741 zonewide
MMIS (Only MTed some): 1008 zonewide

Never gone past 1200 yet. Still working on it, hehe.

EDIT: Had Templar, Defiler, Warden, Swash and Dirge through all of it btw. Not all was tanked in Offensive, nor with buckler.

That was with 2-3 adds iirc, but I was MTing Othysis, so only hitting her. No Cyclone or AE damage (was Str/Sta/Int specced but using 2H while I had an Illusionist).

Ok, perhaps you don't get my sarcasm. With that dps we get 1-2 adds. So it really makes me wonder how do you only get 1 at 5%?

They memblur Othysis when she's about to finger point, this prevents an add from spawning. I'll presume they are out of mem blurs by the time they get Othysis to 5%.

Or at least thats how i understand it. I was under the impression that to not get an add at all you need to bounce agro constantly. Altho only bouncing when she's due to finger point would make sense.
