I know there as been a few post before, but it would be nice to see some dps charts from the guard community, doesn't matter if your high or low dps please feel free to post every little bit helps everyone increase there dps

I dont have any parse to hand but it's simple.

Buckler + STR STA AGI lines = Good DPS and grp aggro

I usually parse between 1.2 - 1.5k just mashing my CA's :D

doin about 1.2 - 1.5k tower and str / agi / int specced on a laggy german server :P sometimes more on groups. don't think parse is needed.

but you can get higher ;P

~1500-2200 Depending on zone, group, debuffs, whether or not the server hates me and decides 480 skill should only have a hit rate of 70%.

str/agl/int with legendary SoD and no coercer and around 900-1200...coercer its about 1200-1300 and like pagan said...if SoE lets me hit a yellow or orange with wep skills more then high enough when the damn mob is debuffed

I've been damn close to 2k lately since I got my soulfire.

I can easily see 2200 with my normal MT group - coercer, warden, mystic, templar, dirge (No Defiler available sometimes, so mystic typically in front)

Are you specced str/agi/int also Lucutious?

I havn't tried that spec yet but it looks like it parses higher than the sta/agi set up.

Avatar of Flame 1100, CMM 700-800, EH Trash up to 2200, trash nameds in FTH 1700-1800. Spec sta+int. Thats the limit for me, not getting too much damage buffs in our standart MT group - dirge, swash, defiler, warden and templar. Only once i made myself a dream group (fury, dirge, inq, illu, sham) when we trash raided ToS, got about 2k overall and 2200 on the named dragons. Lags are ruining a lot especially on avatars, cant feel myself comfortable in attack stance when my healers get 10-second minigames "push the button 20 times and guess will it cast or not when the lag ends". Some more dps i could get if the zylphax buckler and mayongs hammer will drop, all other gear that could add to dps i already hawe. All of this is for a tanking guard, more dps can be done easily with a good two-hander in agi line on groups or from a lot of specific dps gear like bruiser boots with melee proc and ring of four winds that adds very little to defense attributes.

i m hoping morphling jaraxx and grinds will post what sort dps they do with contested gear. i am really interested to see if a good 2hder (either SoPV , AoUW, varasakin club or the even monk contested bo) are averaging higher or lower then buckler spec or a highly dps spec tower shield set up

Personally i average around 1500 to 2500 depending the mob, that is str 447 agi 446 sta 4448 with buckler of the howler and GBH with a dirge and a coercer.

Contested gear itself doesnt really increase damage, except for the few items that'll add some dps mod.

DPS gear consists of T5 pants, Crit gear, and a variety of other odds and ends.

I dont roll with a coercer, so my DPS isnt that spectacular.

Agi: 4/4/8/6/1 Sta: 4/4/8/4 Int: 4/1 nets me 1500-2300dps with a dirge/assassin
