Default Adornments? Choices...

Hey there.

I have been out of the MT game awhile now (playing my bruiser, doing all the sucky stuff that will leave you dead alot of times). Was wondering...

Shoulder adorn? Which? 100hps or "Damage Shield"? Does the one doing Piercing Damage go to parser / generate hate?

Anyone got some tips? Please share

Yep concentrate on HP, DPS on neck and bow, parry and block chance on all other items. and dont use those riposte adorments, they give you nothing but continously stun and stifle you from the ripostes on the mob, i mean most avatars

Just said somthing aobut this in zerk forums
but yeah hp on shoulder and rings, sta on wrists, legs, boots, 6 to all on chest, 10 dps on bow and neck, pwr on helm, agi on gloves,if u have the cash do the 2% riposte/parry on wrists, tho they run 10 plat here, 1 block to shield, and 2 riposte/parry to weapon, or vamp handle usually...

I would have a set of hate gear adorned for pure hate gain (For example find the hate proccing shoulders from castle and stick a dmg shield on em for when you need more hate) also I'm sure every guard has a stack of different shields to have different adorns on each. Just don't get set in one direction or another as you are allowed to switch out gear!

Personally always for main boss tanking gear (ie my highest quality pieces) I would be hps all the way ( pity all items are lore ).

HP>stamina
DPS>Haste
Block%>Mitigation or Chance to Heal self on hit if blocking.
Parry>Mitigation (if over 5K mit)
Phantom handle>Vampiric Handle (help on long fights, healers should be healing your ass anyways).

This basically sums it up perfectly. Someone else posted you should have multip sets of gear/augs. If you got the cash, having damage shield on shoulders/buckler and some other procs are good for "group content". Damage shields are great if you mentor ever.

I wanted to ask you about this as I've recently had a discussion about it. I'm currently rocking a Phantom handle and was told that Vampiric is better on many levels as it actually takes away the mob's health vs. power. For me getting health isn't a big deal and power is.

That being said having a mob dead quicker is a lot nicer. So I'm curious on the overall advantage of not rolling with Vampiric to get the mob dead quicker?

think about it... hitting the mob for an extra 150 three times a minute will make a difference? grats 7 dps!

Phantom >>>> Vampiric, every single time

Although... with the new Mana Cloak changes (Mana Cover) - I'm having way less power issues. DMG or parry might be worth looking into.
