The Cleric AA "Shield Ally" could potentially cause a non-crit melee attack, because if you riposte for your shielded ally, it might not take into consideration your 101% crit rate from AA's.

Re: Weapon Crits, and why ratio is besT?
Hmmm, I'll pull it up or get loud to pull it up and see, but they are rather adamant that it scales.
I don't get how it would since it doesn't effect the mob at all, only your own damage before it is applied to the mob. Like Double Attack or DPS mod.
But the riposte through Shield Ally while wearing the +parry% adornments has potential for an explanation.

anyone who thinks otherwise can argue with the devs...

You mean like how how many different mobs are "working as intended" then within the month there is a patch to make them actually work?

Actually parses of me, say otherwise.
But parses of leo support it.

So any inconsistency should tell you that its not a true 100%

Re: Weapon Crits, and why ratio is besT?
I am the top of the curve.
Have actually had 112% crit for the proc from the League quests.

I don't have anywhere near 100% crit except when executioners wrath is on. But, I know that my %crit goes way up when fighting greys. And it seems to scale fairly smoothly down as the con of the mob gets higher. From what I've seen, crit % definitely looks inversely proportional to target's con. (Maybe it is level difference, but I've only noticed it by con through casual observation)

Yes i've noticed this too. Running through Antonica on the way to the spire, i'll shoot an arrow at the wolves for shits and giggles and it seems to almost always crit. Perhaps im just getting lucky but I still see a correlation at least between mobs far below your level, and crits.
