"On a side note, his whirling attack with the stifle only hits the 15 players closest to him. Healers that stand behind the DPS will not get stifled, making that part of the encounter trivial."

are you positive about this bit? that only the 15 closest get the stifle

Yes. It's how we keep our Healers from being stifled during the encounter.
Of course, if Pawbuster moves, the healers may now be in range, so have to manage that.

were testing right now. cant say its exactly 15 but healers standing behind all others keeps them free (unless some DDers died)

Anyway willing to post a complete recommendation for Pawbuster?

Or at least answer the following for me:

1. What strats are you using to keep aggro on MT or OT. I am having trouble keeping aggro, unlike anything I have seen or encountered before. And don't say need a better tank, explain to me what you mean by that...tanks needs more DPS...tank needs more aggro transfer..tanks needs to pay better attention to Cleave animation...tank needs not be stifled (where are those darn cures!!)..etc.

2. Does Pawbuster cast bloodlust just before great cleave as stated in previous post on this thread?

3. Does it matter where Pawbusters health is or just how much bloodlust he has stacked on him before he breaks lock on grate. In other words, if we survive long enough for him to build up enough strength to break lock and then pull lever will that do the job? I have seen folks say he needs to be everywhere from 20-40% before grate will work.

4. SLOW DPS or Hard BURN DPS?

5. How many brawlers reco if 'peel' only good way to keep Pawbuster near MT and away from raid.

Any help is appreciated. And if you do not wish to share your guilds secrets publicly for killing Pawbuster, you can always just send me in game tells on Najena server....I will deny any rumors as to who told me what.

Thanks,
Lucianclaw

since peel got nerfed you cant count on that anymore, its nothing more than magnetic note right now

that might be one of your problems, everyone needs to be cured, esp. tanks

i havent found a place to avoid the cleave either. having multiple tanks with you and use recapture often will help a lot (if the other tanks are equally producing good hate amounts)

we figured you need PB under 20% health for him to be able to break the lock in like 3 successfull hits

and DPS solely depends on proper curing again

Using a combination of my ogre ability to ignore stuns for 15 seconds, my mystic in my group using Immunization when up, my templar using Sanctuary when up, my Bristlebane ability to ignore stuns (and everything else) for 60 seconds, my 2 merchant perchased (icons of stability or whatever?), dirges using magnetic note, illusionists using phase, etc etc etc etc (god there's so many things we use to control aggro on that fight it's not funny) and whatnot... (along with myself and the above listed others getting jester capped and such) I'm able to pretty much keep the mob solely on me for the mass majority of the fight.

The above comment is regarding the elemental non-curable that is. The "trauma" curing I don't worry about anymore due to I just yell over my shoulder at my wifey (CURE) and she hits me immediately due to my healers in my group seem to never do it hardly.

The big attack is a frontal. Make sure particles are on, watch for him starting to wind up, then get behind him fast. Got your back, Block, etc are invaluable as he will go by prox agro when targetting it. You should be able to avoid most this way.

Has anyone tried Dragoons Reflexes on the Cleave to see if it prevents it?

What about Intercedes?
