Default Warrior spec tree for Guardian

I just betrayed my zerker to a guardian. I'm not going to use him to raid because its not my main. I was wondering how i should spec my warrior tree for group/instance tanking. Right now i did 4 4 5 8 in STR, 4 4 6 8 1 in AGI, and 4 4 6 8 1 in WIS. What should i change, if anything for a good group spec? thanks.

Same as you would spec as a Zerker, really -

STR 4 4 8
STA 4 4 8 8 1
INT 4 7 8 6 1

Why are you guys putting points into getting Arena Endurance at the bottom of the STA line? Seems like a worthless ability to me when you consider you could put that 2AA into more parry or upgraded Accleration Strike.

2 in arena endurance compared to 1 in parry/strike is marginal either way. Personal preference is all I can argue - 7 in strike is enough to keep it up 100% of the time, and I'd rather have endurance than 2 points of parry.

Noted. Arena Endurance probably also provides significantly less downtime in solo/group situations eh?

I personally like this for solo/grouping:

STR 4-4-8
AGI 4-1
STA 4-4-8-8
INT 4-4-8-6-1

Just because that extra AoE comes in handy when you need it.

Why would you not spend the 2 extra aa on the end of the sta line?

I don't really see it's usefullness. The heal component is 100% worthless in t8 raiding. The power cost reduction is nice, but I just don't feel the need for it with overclocked mana stones, power potions etc. I'm always low on power, but never low enough where my power pool makes or breaks me.

Also keep in mind that the above listed spec I made isn't what I use. It's just what I figured would be the ideal for solo/grouping.

so in other words, the more dps the more hate you gain, instead of spaming taunts. you dps your ass off like a ranger or wiz would do to keep aggro?

so whats teh best way to keep group aggro as a guardian when you only have 1 aoe taunt and only 1 aoe attack?

You have 2 group taunts... kinda one is half aoe half taunt.

Its long cast time makes it not worth using IMO.
