Ok so I'm guessing you used the given stats of the weapon instead of the ingame weapon damage etc. lets check your results using that post as it is very easy and pretty accurate.

normalized damage per second ((57+230)/2)/3 = 47.83 and that's ((min+max)/2)/delay
crit damage bonus 1.67*0.49 = 0.82 (spread damage increase times crit% (using graph from link provided in earlier post))

so 47.83*1.82 = 87 DPS
this is a result I can trust as I know the underlying calculations.
oh and if you add your 70 double attack that's 148 DPS ie not your result...

So pinski how did you calculate it?

Something wrong, because the average crit is 241, and the average hit is 143.5 for 57-230. Which is what my math gets. And when I put in .49*241+.51*143.5, I get 191 for my average hit, which gives me 63 DPS, not 87. So, uhm, there's definitely something with your math, I'd love to know where you learned to read:

Quote:
1) A Blade of the Bixies has a damage range of 22-65 displayed on it. 66/22 = 3, so it's a 1:3 Min:Max Damage ratio. So, looking at the first 1:X graph, you look at the point 3 on the x axis, and see where it intersects the line. So, looking at 3 on that graph, gives us that Y is ~1.58. This means that with 100% crit, you would do 58% more damage with that weapon.

You can multiply your crit rate by the modifier.. so with 25% crit: (0.25*0.58 = 0.145). That means with 25% crit you would do 14.5% more damage.
So uhm, .49*.67=.3283, 47.83*1.3283=63.53*1.7=108. HOT DAMN. Look at that, my math is right. You can't read. So please, next time you try to do math, read what you're "copying" first.

Your math intrigues me. I wish to subscribe to its newsletter.

Anything fabled from RoK is better than anything Fabled from EoF(sans the GBH depending on how much DA you have). SoD is the #2 defensive weapon behind the Mythical Epic, so it's worth it if you need to live longer.
