Default 3 Healer MT Group

I have a question about the MT group setup regarding a three healer setup.

It's pretty plainly obvious that the temp/defiler is amost a necessity for optimum healage. My question is really about the druid class. The warden is the generally preferred choice I think because of spores / +combat bonuses / cures. But... if aggro isn't a problem, I'm curious as to how you guys think a fury would stack up in comparison? I can't help but think of the benefits of lucidity and agitate (and possibly hedgehog?) vs. what the warden can offer. I guess my question is... Because the mobs in t8 hit so hard, how effective is spores really? Also, how effective is the warden's +combat skills buff if hate isn't a huge issue.

To me, the only true benefit of the warden are the better cures, which can be done out of group. And it sorta seems like the fury would provide the same or more damage output while giving us the benefit of more power. Also, is hedgehog (the fury uber mit buff) even worth using since mitigation isn't what it used to be?

I hope I'm not missing anything, but I really can't say I know all that much about the priest class.

**keep in mind we're not in VP. I think in that zone the +combat skill is the better choice.**

We've had a fury in the MT group all the way through VP and did fine.

furys just make more sense in a mage buffing group since they are good at healing mages and can do mad dps

We currently carry two furies and one warden. We have a fury in the mage group already. Currently, we run with an MT group (with dirge/temp/def/druid/coer), OT group (with dirge/inquis/mystic), mage group (with fury/troub), and a melee group (with warden/dirge[eventually]).

I'm looking for advice assuming we always run with these same 7 healers.

Fury would add more to your melee group, adding feral, and fae fire (whatever the latest one is called). A fury in a dps group can also dps pretty significantly. Something a warden can try to do, but never as well a fury.

Up to T4 hitting the mob isnt a major issue. A Warden will add a fair amount to your tanks hit-rate, which is already dismal in VP. This'll help agro more than a fury would.

Fury can do fine in VP, and the feral buff certainly helps combat the lack of a melee skill buff. However i find agro is still more firm with a warden in VP.

Every other zone, you'll probably end up with more agro via a fury, since hits rates arent that bad and giving your MT 60 odd dps/haste is hot.
