I've gone in and left the fight with almost all my power(about 95%) before, but thats just what happens. the stone skin will sometimes stay up longer than normal because he hits 66% and can sometimes heal back up to like 70%, then you bring him back down to 66% and it just goes right back up again. Its somewhat of a rarity to get the full power drain though. They may have ninja fixed that as I haven't had it happen since the last LU went live, but then again I don't run VoES anymore since I got my Ganak's Torque already.
