Yes, I'm not saying I crank it out every time it's castable. I'm just saying it's incredibly easy to be liberal with the use of it.

Raid skill and makeup are different for each guild, so there is no right answer as to whats better to carry. Some tanks spike so often it warrants the use of a crapload of MC towers. Others may only go thru 1 or 2 towers in an entire night, and to them it would seem very silly to use anything but a good legendary/fabled tower.

If you break 5-6 shields in a night, more power to you.

Fyi, for any looking to carry a ton of towers, stay away from the mastercrafted junk and just pickup matching Draconic Towers.

I agree with this, which is why I specified legendary tower shields from faction merchants or drops, rather than just treasured/MC shields. The Enduring Wall isn't a whole lot better than them, anyways.

I have multiple ToS buttons. If I feel the healers are slacking, I use the MC one. If I think the mob is actually hard, I eat one of my nearly-equally-shitty tower shields.

Although the MC ring is very good, I dunno if I'd wear one with a coercer & dirge in group. Then again, I'm spec'd buckler, so it's usually pretty damn tough for ppl to pull stuff off me.

i try not to use TOS except for extreme situations
keeps your healers on your toes, ToS all the time is overkill and just makes mobs too damn easy, put your faith in your healers and let them keep you up, not a stockpile of shitty shields
