I have been a Pally for over 3 years now and I never thought I would like another tank as much as I liked my Pally...well, I was wrong. I had been offtanking and main tanking on my Pally for a few months after we lost our normal MT guardian...me and a Zerk had been swapping back and forth. We did good with this setup, but seeing that I am on an exchange server I desided to buy a Guard and see what it was like. The difference was amazing from the very start. The guard I bought was an 80 guard in all doomrage and he got his ass handed to him. I've only had him for just under a month now and I'm in mostly onslaught. I have the fabled shoulders from Druzella, the bracers from blob in Chelsith, and got the Virtue's Guard my first night as a Guard in PR. I absolutely love my little froggy guard. I do better dps (2.5-3k in raid) and take a beating so much better. My pally has more mit and better avoidance since he carries the shield of the green dragon, but I still feel he takes so much more of a beating...this isn't seen in group instances, but for sure is seen in raid.
I'd just like to say the help I've recieved in the WW guardian channel has been hands down the best advice that anyone can take. You guys rock...look forward to seeing more of y'all as I lurk in the shadows of this forum.
