You sure about this?

Any experience i have with death saves is they will all trigger off a death. Thus having this buff up, and a priest uses their death save, triggers both and results in you dying 48seconds later.

This is how it used to work anyways, and i have not bothered testing it in a long while. So I stand to be corrected, if you have actually confirmed this through testing.

Edit: I noticed you call it Death Prevention. All about the DP?

SvDs are interesting!, and all will trigger when you die still

So, building a macro for the tower shield... I'm mildly retarded when it comes to building macros... I have my INC and ASSIST built... but what is the / command for equipping a certain item?

Basically you're raid tanking, you'd want to hit a macro that equipped the tower shield, then used ToS. As soon as you began taking damage again (which probably isn't that long) you'd use a macro to again equip your buckler and the associated buckler buff.

Question about Tower of Stone tho, is it best to use that when it looks like you're gonna die to give you that priceless extra 3 seconds of life? Or can it be used (for example.. in PR..) to block the Crushing AoE of Wymbulu? Or the Death Touch/mana Tap of the other one?

How long does the buff usually last? 3 hits vs. a epic mob should be over in a second or two I'd think.

Sorry to be such a nub, but may as well ask the people who REALLY know.

Just as the spell says absords next three hits. So yes it will block anything.

Right click your spell and it will give you an option to make a macro. Or just hit o to make one. Use drop down box to equip shield. Move arrows on the right side to put shield on top and spell to the bottom. Hit ok your done.

Breen,

I am a big fan of redundancy.

So when Death Touch is incoming or the crushing AoE we do the follow:

Of course, most of raid force jousts out for the crushing AoE...but for MT we...

1. Healers Death Protect MT
2. MT using block/ToS and any other buffs for mitigation they have available
3. OT, who is also Guardian uses, usually uses block/ToS and intercede immediately following the AoE or Death Touch.

All those together and most of the time you can not even tell anything happend to MT...

Also, Yes I have a macro like:

/g Using Tower of Stone, next 3 attacks will be blocked
then command to Equip Tower Shield
then command casting ToS

and another macro that will equip my buckler, after the hits and I am stable.

I use ToS on pulls, and when it looks like I am in trouble and I hold off requiping Buckler until it is clear we are back in control of my health.

Multiple sv Death stuff does trigger like you said Grind, I can confirm. I often use our sv death when a mob is nearly dead just as a safeguard, surprisingly enough it has saved me from freak accidents more than a few times.

Then I get to die afterwards while we loot the chest, which is always amusing.

Well I stand corrected. I could have sworn I tested UW with a death save on me, but after messing around with it again last night, it appears that what Pinski says is correct, all DP's trigger on death. Sorry for the confusion.

I can also confirm that Altruism and Unyielding Will both proc on death.

Question though, I've been meaning to test this. But, has anyone tried getting a SvD from healer as the Unyielding Will timer is about to expire? A SvD after a SvD...I keep forgetting to test it.

never have any problems with Wymbulu tbh

Regarding Iztapa, get your disease above 11k and just laugh at his harm touch..you still loose power though. but yes ToS/block and even Stone sphere are good ways of blocking it.

Also dont worry about swapping too much good gear out for the resists as he hits like a kitten.
