Massive melee hit rate drop?

My melee hit rates have dropped at max skills to about 35 to 45% in VP 2nd/3rd floor. Running through the parses, it seems like all the debuffs are up but our melees have seen an approximate 10% hit across the board, with me being the hardest affected. Even with Decimate up, it felt like a real crap shoot for my CAs to land. Anyone have any recent experience in VP or did I just get a really unlucky night?

I'm racking my brain and trying to remember the mechanics....you can't be parried when you're behind a mob right? If that's the case, check the parsers and see if you're being parried/riposted more past first floor. I'm in a casual guild myself, and while we're on floor one still, trying to hit level 86 orange con mobs makes me sad in the pants!

Brawler mobs can parry you from behind. Ripostes are frontal quadrant only however, Parries are as well, if the mob is not a Brawler.
