Tell me what you think. the remaining AA's I have will be going into the first STA (only 4 AAs to fill out 70). I'm just kind of curious from the rest of the Guardian community if you find this to be a weird/interesting or perhaps worth a try for some others.

The only stat worth putting more than 4 points in MAYBE is agility.

yeah, trying out the end to see how much of a difference taking out the "negative" impacts buffs and temp buffs do, figured also that it wouldn't be bad to put 8 into first WIS to get resists against spells up.

Really? I figured you'd want to put at the least 6 into the portions that increase your defense?



There will probably be more tweaks that I do as I'm on a PvP server too, but I'll probably just use the AA mirror for those times that I seek PvP.

I see what your saying now, and will definately take it into consideration, maybe put those points into my hate gain inc on the str line.

I dont see why you would put any more than 4 points on stats. Its a waste of AA points imo. And im not a big fan of the wis line at all. That one kinda much sucks.

lol, seems like the consensus shows that endline WIS sucks do you find INT to be a better candidate? or perhaps maybe filling out some of the lines more? I'm all in for any and all suggestions. Got 4 free respecs left

WIS is terrible for a raid tank, but not as bad for an instance tank - especially if you can't count on having a dirge, inquisitor, or coercer regulary. Since I don't raid tank (aside from an occasional Severilous, T-Rex, or Dominus, or rarely filling in as an OT) I experimented with a WIS spec to start the expansion (4/4/7 STR/AGI/STA, 4/4/8/6/1 WIS) and loaded up on +slash gear (Ganak's Torque, Gladius, Skorpikis Belt, Danak Gussets, Droag Talon Plugs.) Basically built around tanking in DEF stance 100% of the time. Didn't have much trouble holding aggro, and got multiple compliments on how easy I was to heal for. Had no problem doing any instance in that spec with one healer and relatively mediocre gear.

Since getting Virtue's Guard and the Fabled Epic I've switched to a more generic spec - more DPS is more fun - but I wasn't unsatisfied with how my previous spec had performed.
