Not that I don't believe you, but where's the confirmation?

This is a very good question, very hard to prove unless a developer responds to how/she wrote it. Or possibly one of the designers that gave the requirements for the code.

If others are casting deago or agro increasers onto your Moderate groupmate, where do they play into the mix. If i were one of the developers I would just use the end product of hate gained, and then split that accordingly.

I would love to think it doesn't effect my Assasin's hate transfer, but I play it safe and usually put it on my ward based healer.

If someone finds out otherwise, I would love to hear it.

there realy is no proof, or confirmation for somthing like this. There is no tool for parsing hate , and in general "hate" in this game is somewhat a mystery.

its simply a try it yourself and see type thing... put moderate on your assasin if u have one in your group. youll notice 0 difference in your aggro, your assasin will be less likely to pull aggro if thats a problem in the first place....

in the full spectrum of things it doesnt realy matter who you put moderate on. your hate transfer shouldnt be pulling aggro off you so they shouldnt need it. Your defiler shouldnt be getting aggro on pulls so they shouldnt need it either. *shrug.

It also depends on the fight / pull for instance while fighting druushk I put it on the warden simply because he parses the highest for heals and often will get aggro on the incoming mobs from the heals on me other wise its defiler or templar on a normal pull however from now i will try the swashy/assasin on fights where i dont find it needed.

That is stupid tho... since the regn heals dont generate as much hate as wards or reactiv heals. So pure and simple i would say Shaman or cleric. Since druids dont generate the same hate. In MT group that is.

As for that hate transfer goes firts... i dont think so. I have tryed it out some and i get more hate gain when i dont have it on the swashie. And a deflier shouldent grab agro? heard of something called resists? sometimes your taunts and shit do on the pull... i can agree on that you dont need it to keep aggro from him when you fighting

After a couple pulls i noticed it was going for the warden, so i put moderate on the warden. Problem solved it could be that the warden is using more overloaded heal items i suppose but im not positive. I just know what was happening

if your taunt resists use somthing else before it gets to your defiler?

you could hit the mob with our weakest combat art and that would be enough. The only time it should realy happen is like on valor if you get de targeted on the pull or somthing.

Decimate ftw. I think few Guards actually read and understand its description.
