Which buckler would you use?

I dont know if people have posted a thread like this. I looked and didnt see one but I was just curious for those who are spec'ed down the STA line which buckler would you use?

Harbinger of Malcontent

or

Virtue's Guard

I understand as a Guardian the "Terrorize" proc means nothing to us but the other stats compared to each other?

i mean, if you specced sta to riposte, it's probably better than almost every tower shield. and you do more dps :P

if you were in an ub0r guild ( :D ) in t7 and got the old stoneskin boots, and now you can't kill nexona or druushk to get your mythical, i would probably use the malcontent thing. dps with it is gonna be amazing

The magic answer here is.... both.

VG for MT/OT when tanking, HoM for dps when not tanking.

Is there a fix in the works for the Harbinger of Malcontent, so Guardians will be able to benefit from our Offensive stance, as well ?

Volatile: No. And probably won't be. This is truly a zerker buckler, and honestly, they need that benefit more than we do.

You didn't get it.

Zerkers Ostance actually increases their DPS potential.

Our Ostance gives us 160str (or whatever retarded number).

So basically, we dont have an offensive stance, we just have a stance that increases our melee skills and debuffs our avoidance. No notable increase in dps besides being able to hit the mob alittle better than before.

And, I completely agree with you...a STR and skill boost with a sacrifice to our avoidance.

I find the extra skill/hit rate on the off stance handy enough to warrant it on the fights where you know the scouts are gonna rape the mob.
