Hey Guards!

I am returning from a 6 month break and slowly growing back into EQ2. I have played alot of MMO's but I think the best experiences I made in games are in here.

So, why not share your favourite EQ2 moment?

For me, it was killing the Prince in EH for the first time.

We wiped so often, we tried so hard and when we had him down in the end, we screamed like little school girls at a Justin Timberlake concert... It was amazing

Other notable events were killing Darathar (but I was in T6 then - sucky guild back then) and Amorphous Drake...

My favorite memory would probably be when my original character was like 35 or 36 or something, and a couple friends dragged me to Cazic Thule, and I was still in my newbie "OMG it's a mob, run!" stage and the Feerrott was still in its "OMG I'm a mob and I'm gonna keel you" stage. Needless to say it was interesting.

I remember my first pickup group too... I was like 18... or something... and I hadn't discovered the level chats yet so had no idea nek forest even existed, someone happened to be in TS and asked in /ooc for more and I was bored so I figured I'd go... they were very patient and didn't mind waiting the like, hour, it took me to figure out how to get to Nek, and how to navigate to where they were.

Anyone remember the first time they stepped into EH and ran forward and aggroed /everything/ in that gully area? /cough

Fuck Feerrott. I still hate that zone to this day. Griffons plz.

Every time I zone in I start to sweat, have flashbacks, and swear uncontrollably because of doing The Journey is Half the Fun when the entire zone was orange/red to me.

my favorite moment in eq was back in tier 5 i was just starting up a pickup raid group to try drayek, first raid for us ever so was kind of a cluster fuck as it was. the top guild at the time was forming up to pull the kra'thuk and one of the people in my raid ended up body pulling the kra'thuk somehow who then proceeded to spend the next like hour running all over the entire zone killing everyone there
we were sitting on the docks in everfrost watching the krathuk run from the PF entrence to the docks killing every person he came across until finally the GMs took everfrost down and reset him
oh the screams that day
and then once our raid finally got started we ended up getting lost in permafrost on our way there and about half the raid missed a jump over a gap... and got a free ticket to the everfrost docks

i still chuckle hehe
