ya but you really can't add them together. They are seperate checks. Each of the 3% parry wrist adornments, %parry food, drink, 8% reposte, anything else contested or not - all seperate checks. Which isn't quite as good vs. stacking them all up and have it check it all once.

All in all, i see about 35% or more avoidance comes from parry when i tank druushk, nexona etc. Losing the sta line is too much of a hit to our avoidance, even wearing green dragon shield.

On a side note, I have yet to see a Barbute of the wrathbringer since the begining of the expansion, so no block boost ;).

Also i'd like to know something on the wording of items. When you see adornments giving you 3% parry changes and T1 shoulders giving you 3 extra parry, anyone know the difference between both ?

I don't know if it is just different wording but would be good to know. Thanks.

For alot of merged nexona fights I blocked 12% but it's stated as 19% I parried 8% when I have about 8% uncontested (but I think 25ish% in persona) and I riposted 8% when I have about 13% uncontested riposte from items and stamina line.
the drop from 13 to 8 riposte is about the same as the one from 19 to 12 so I just asumed it all scaled down.

Lizerd keng, I added it like this to count for the previous check 13.5 + 8*(1-0.135) I believe that is how you add % chanses together.

Trollita if you look at the block when you equip and unequip your Soulfire gladius you see it increasing and decreasing by exactly 5. However if you look at the parry when you add the Spaulders of the Wrathbringer you don't see a straight 3% increase but one that follows the equation I just gave Lizard Keng. For me it gives and increase from 23.7 to 26.1 so it's 0.1 from what my equation 23.7+3(1-0.237) would give. but depending on how numbers are rounded off it might very well be correct so I've just gone with that assumption this far. So for shoulder's it's the same as it is with parry% items, but for the items with + block chanse it's not.
