what about the soulfire gladius. before you get to vp its still one of the best if not even the best tanking weapon out there. at least it provides me with a 2.4% avoidance boost over th efabled epic.

another thig is the danak essence vial necklace. until you reach vp you can use this. its another good avoidance boost.

bracelet of the envious heart is also not bad. but i agree there is better even in the legendary department.

another item that is perhaps worth it is the blue collection item from re2. not sure how it is called tho.

Should the twisted club really be on that list? Yeah it has some defensive stats, but the dmg spread of it is so awful and i'd expect the soulfire to give better avoidance (maybe not more, but at least uncontested) anyways.

I think soulfire might even give more dps than the twisted club too...

The club might give more avoidance on your little avoid breakdown, but I would rather have 5% block, than 10+ parry and defense, or whatever the club gives.

yeah the clubs there as a very basic tank item tbh.

the Items are in a ROUGH order of best at the top etc etc, but people will disagree so much on whats best theres no point saying it is. problem with tank classes is some like dps, some like pure defense and others a nice mix. unlike mages,scouts,healers where most items are obvious, so i just went with the best defensive items as thats what we are in a raid for primarily.

also, if there is already 5-6 items on a slot i dont see the need to add anymore espcially when it is crafted/legendary. most people know what basic stuff is available to them so i dont see the need in listing it. If they dont there is the legendary loot thread.

Soulfire Gladius is better for defense than the fabled epic. not better than the claw of khalen or mythical though. but it should easily be the 3rd weapon on that list.

i heard these kick ass for dps as a guardian
im thinking of snaggin one of them since my belt is the only thing that i really need to upgrade

Not sure, proc is doing 100-200 DPS for our scouts.
