Quick questions

Do we need critical mitigation for the TSO instances OR just the TSO raid zones?

I am trying to debate how heavily I should consider critical mitigation when all I am doing atm is TSO instances and VP.

Also, is it worth starting to discuss which gear from the shard vendors are must haves?

Again, the raid gear I do have from RoK seems to be better then most of the shard vendor gear expect for the lacking in critical mitigation. I do have my eyes on the gauntlets though, since the starter set has 35 haste and the 'imbued' version has 38 haste and some nice stats.

Pretty easy to figure out - do the mobs in instances critically hit you?

I was going for the lazy approach, plus I just got back after being AFK for Thanksgiving so I thought I would ask here since everyone is pretty knowledgable.

I will make a point to run ACT, and post some screenshots or stats for MOBs that crit in instances.

I have 80 void shards, and there is no way i would even waste one on that craptastic armor, not even for appearance or server disco.

8% CA is nice, 3 set 15% shield block from holy warrior's armor is nice if you can't get that much in 3 slots elsewhere.

Basically Frogw is completely wrong and unless have badass top end gear I'm sure you will find more than enough stuff that is an upgrade to what you have. Even if you do, there are upgrades there unless you are too cool to use it.

I'm a mod cuz Grind asked me to take over for him, only reason. Did you ever find those 2 rare ? you needed, btw? I went through my logs and I think you were wrong about the items being zone specific. I got several dupes in different zones.

I farm 2 zones for shiny's and if they arnt zone specific for at least a "batch" of them, then I have some of the weirdest luck.

That could be true, I didn't get a LOT of doubles, but for example the dagger I got both in Najena Hollow and Scion of Ice. There were a couple of others but I didn't find you online at the time and now I forget what they are!

They are not zone specific. And there is an easy way to farm a full set in 3-4 days if you have access to 3-4 toons. I would explain it, but atm I am making a nice income on nagafen from these, so will only do it by pm to non naggy people. Anyway, 1 or 2 pieces of the shard armour is decent, rest is crap. Thats is from a tank wearing mostly RoK legendary and TSO fabled heh. So umm yeah, dont rely on void shards to gear you out. Allthough I am relying on pvp voidshards for my Chest and Legs <3
