My Dilema for L75 Master 2...

theres 4 master 2's that come available at L75, and 2 are specifically ones I am interested in.
but each has a different purpose.

1 is the Mock Master 2, the other is the HP buff for the group to have +850 something HP.

I see both of these skills as extremely helpful, but cant really deciede what one would be better... granted, I am a long way away from making the decision as I am not there level wise.
but I do still think of it when I see it...

heres my thinking.

the HP buff would be fine as a Master 1, or even Adept 3, while the master 2 version would definatly help the group as a whole survive, a few less HP for that buff wouldnt be so hard to live with...

the Mock Master 2, directly effects my ability as a tank to hold taunt - which I personally consider top priority, even over a HP buff.
+ Mock master 1's are rare as hell, and the rare occassion I see one on the broker, its 150 plat, and gone in a hour.
obviously, a high priority to every guardian...

so avoid the rat race for the master 1, and just go with the master 2 from the freebie at L75?
or take the group HP buff?

its a really really close call to me, cause I want that HP, but I like the extra taunt alot.
so far, the taunt is winning by a inch, but not much.

any thoughts on this?

some of you guardians are far more experienced then me, and may have something to say that makes this easier to deciede.
so any advice is greatly appreciated.

In the end game, taunts are about 10% of your hate generation (if that). So a slight upgrade to 1 of several taunts wont affect your ability to hold aggro at all. If it does, the problem lies elsewhere.

Go with the HP imo.

1 damage = 1 hate.

When I compared the hate of my taunts to the damage of my CA's, I knew I had to pick the HP Buff.

and it's called a taunt, not a mock?

go hp buff the taunt is there to help with aggro but it is by far not even close to being the best aggro tool you have, one of the worst rather in fact: / while the hp buff directly effects your surviveability=)

i only use my taunts on the pull... and after that i dont use them at all. In raids and in groups. So getting that one M2 is imo a waste... take the HP buff.. that will keep ya up longer!

I called it a "Mock" outta habit.
my only 80, was a berserker, and I still get the names of things mixed up sometimes, as alot of crossover happens between berserker and guardian skills.

however, learning that 1 point of damage = 1 point of hate, greatly changes how I see the taunts now.
it would be easy under most cases to surpass a taunts hate, with raw damage under most cases.

it may also be helpful to note, I am not in a raid guild, probably wont be any time soon, even though I would love to be, I just dont see that happening soon.
so I tend to think of my skill sets as 6 people instances and worst case scenarios.
you know... the wizard you found on the chat, that gives you about .2 seconds to gain aggro before hes launching world war 3 on anything thats moving.
the guy that gets you killed, and wants to say its your fault, cause your the tank... yet his DPS is 20 times higher then you need.
thats the kinda thing I still gotta counter.
