I am sure bullshit dps posts from non tanking dual wielding guards, didn't influence the decision to nerf guard dps...just saying

100% DA with 1H = 33% DA with DW. If you're over 33% DA with DW, then yes DW is more DPS.

NOT RECOMMEND... but might be fun to try.

Dual wield Claw of Khalen and Revitalized Val'Arek. Of course block gets thrown out the window and STA line, but you can regain lost STA line with +5 from Khalen and +3 adornment... add a +3 adornment on Mythical and you've just thrown block out the window... which when feared and have your back to the mob block is out the window anyway. Not saying its a good idea, but I bet Exill could tank Druushk with that setup.

From my experience, to compete with 100% DA with mythical epic, you need more like 55 or 60% DA on DW.

I was using claw of khalen, which is a bit to fast ( 2.5 ).

Maybe i was just unlucky on misses / parry, it may very well be possible, but this is what i needed to parse about the same as the mythical 100% DA.

Tested it on a SOH run, on all trash and nameds ( except maestro and the sisters ).

Edit: i somehow missed the posts at the end of the second page, i understand why you were talking about 33%.

Considering a Swash can Tank Druushk with DWs, I'm pretty certain a Guardian could as well.

All other guards should get out some pen and paper.
