Forearm Parry Adorn

Is there a point in Parry skill where it doesn't make sense to take the parry adorn? My parry skill is in the 580's raid buffed. I thought the cap was 6.5 per level, so against a 87 mob, thats about 566 for the cap. Is this right? or do you guys think the parry is still teh way to go?

I put mitigation on my forearms cuz my parry is usually that high as well. Really it is pretty much a wash either way, but if you are that far over capped, may as well get something else on there.

My understanding is cap is based on teh level of the mob you are fighting. Phara Dar is 87, which is what I based it on

I agree... Parry is too easy to cap now, so...

Someone told me, that the +7 / +8 parry adornment is uncontested... heh? I don't see how thats possible since it is a raw skill + to our existing parry skill.

Probably a miss communication of sorts, hehe.

I am discontent with our new fabled set. I have never had that hard a time prioritizing my set armor wishlist... Damn crit mit

Got Forearms yesterday, now to adorn and calc parry with all factors in mind...

I always go for the +Parry adorn so then I have more choice when switching armour around since I don't have to keep certain items to remain over/at cap.

The whole crit mitigation is bullshit and a last minute add on by SOE to slow down progression and force us to get gear. Notice how fuck all fabled armour except the set has critical mitigation on it as if it was a last minute change and they haven't got around to putting crit mit on all items....

IMO, the VP set and some of the high end Fabled from RoK needs critical mitigation added to it to equal the legendary EoF sets, also Fabled items from raids in TSO need crit mit even if they aren't the set items.

this is actually really true since they already admitted they "forgot" critmit on non-set fabled and will be putting some in later (was on dev-tracker yesterday)

I would like to hear someone talk about the cap on parry here, someone who know what he says by reading it from a dev post or at FF.

Is it based on your lvl, or the lvl of the mob.

Is it WORTH IT to get over 520 in ANY skill, do we get benefits if we go over that (fighting 81+ mobs).
